The Kansas Optometry Board released updated guidelines on the use of social distancing and masks in optometry settings. As a healthcare setting, our staff continue to wear masks during all patient encounters, and we clean all patient areas including spectacle frames after each patient interaction. We ask that patients were a face covering during their examination regardless of vaccination status.

 

We do allow patients to drop their masks in our optical area that allows for more social distancing than our exam rooms.
